Telemundo Area de la Bahia 48 - Production Internship – Fall 2024, San Jose, CA

Telemundo 48's Production Internship provides students with real world experience and exposure to working in a top ten television market and in a high-energy newsroom. Successful interns will demonstrate a passion for learning and the ability to step out of their comfort zone. We are looking for students who are highly motivated and who can function as a team member or independently in a fast-paced news environment. Interns will work closely with the Production Team in the control room in the broadcast of Telemundo 48 newscasts and recordings. You will work with the directors, assistant directors and production assistants to learn necessary production skills and take on tasks to increase your knowledge in news production. Strong interest in TV news production a plus. Behind the scenes training will include learning teleprompter, robotic cameras, Ross Overdrive, Dalet and other control room equipment. The production internship position is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in tv news in a fast-paced, live news environment. Internships at NBCUniversal are paid and do not require course credit.
