Role Purpose NBCUniversal seeks an Associate Counsel, Employment Law to provide strategic and practical legal counsel for Universal Destinations & Experiences.

NBCUniversal is looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized, and highly efficient individual to work within Universal Studio Group handling production-related agreements and issues, as well as other matters. RESPONSIBILITIES: Draft, review, revise, and negotiate clearance agreements, location agreements, vendor agreements, equipment rental agreements, animal handler agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and other production-related agreements. Provide timely and thoughtful advice on potential risks and issues. Research and evaluate production issues.

Summary: The Manager, Contract Administration is highly organized and detail-oriented with expertise in effective communication and contract management. Manager provides contract administration support, as well as assists with drafting, issuing correspondence, communicating with licensees, and clearing assets, as requested by the VP, on behalf of the Business & Legal Affairs and Business Operations teams. Candidate must be adept at decision-making and must be a solution-oriented manager.

The Director, Business & Legal Affairs will be part of a team handling all matters involving the Global Distribution business (including negotiating, advising on and documenting content license/distribution agreements with customers across the globe and handling distribution aspects of commissioning, co-production and co-financing transactions and arrangements).

Role Purpose Support NBCUniversal’s businesses with respect to compliance with the Global Brand Standards (GBS) audit and risk management program. Responsibilities Review Universal Products & Experiences (UP&E) licensee factory audit reports and corrective action evidence to determine factory waiver program eligibility. Serve as a contact and resource for the business unit, particularly as it relates to China, for the GBS factory waiver program. Initiate and send out Waiver approval letters.

Under general direction of the Legal & Business Affairs department, the Senior Attorney, Marketing is responsible for (1) drafting, negotiating and interpreting contracts, letter agreements and other legal documentation for advertising and marketing services and projects, digital services and media, social media and influencer marketing; and (2) reviewing marketing materials and managing regulatory, statutory, and contractual compliance requirements.
