This internship will provide an opportunity to experience and learn the fundamentals of Brand Marketing and Creative Services, how they relate to other departments within local news and sports stations, and, how it defines the station’s cross platform look, identity and brand.

Support the Sales team with administrative tasks, including but not limited to preparing sales presentations, organizing client meetings, and new business prospecting which could include cold calling. Assist in organizing and planning station sponsored and client events. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends. Analyze competitor activities and prepare reports for the Sales team. Help coordinate and schedule client meetings and assist in follow-up communications.

Will work as part of the technology / IT System engineer support team. An opportunity to shadow all areas of news and operations. Newscast Producers work closely with assignment editors, reporters, and anchors to produce, write, edit and gather content on all WCAU platforms. Producers will be responsible for the overall newscast and coverage of assigned stories on all platforms throughout the day, including but not limited to Out-of-Home, web, and broadcast. The Role and Responsibilities: Must be knowledgeable on daily news events, aware of past events, and understand news in the Philadelphia market.

WWSI Telemundo in Philadelphia seeks a news writer with exceptional writing abilities and strong communication skills to be part of the editorial team. Responsibilities: Craft copy and write news, segments, introductions for Telemundo newscasts and all platforms. Translate news, press releases and general content from English to Spanish into a news format that is compelling and easy to understand. Work closely with content producers, digital content producers, anchors, and reporters on writing elements. Exercise unbiased judgment following news editorial standards, policies, and style.
