As a reporter you will work closely with news management gathering daily content in New Haven, Connecticut, and the southeastern corner of the state with a focus on the shoreline. NBC Connecticut is looking for a Meteorologist to join the StormTracker team in Connecticut.  Our next Meteorologist must be able to weave the science behind weather into a creative, distinctive forecast on all platforms. Accuracy counts!  When not forecasting, the successful candidate will be out in the field generating interesting weather-related stories, with an emphasis on climate change reporting. Duties include taking a proactive approach to developing content, reacting to breaking weather news and turning unique stories on multiple platforms.
