NBCUniversal’s Owned Television station in the McAllen, TX area, KTLM TV, is looking for a skilled Multiplatform Producer to help take our streaming content and newscasts to a new level. OVERVIEW The News Assistant provides support to the show production teams assisting with cutting video, building graphics, basic segment production and guest booking. This role is ideal for candidates looking for entry into a career in journalism and TV news production with a keen interest in business, economics, and financial markets. The Multimedia Journalist is responsible for shooting, writing & editing news stories on a daily basis. Responsibilities: Will shoot, write & edit news stories on a daily basis for station’s newscasts, recorded programs and/or other live, station broadcasts – either in the studio or out on location. Works directly with News Producers on story ideas and development. Presents completed stories that are accurate, journalistically sound, fair and balanced. Will report Live during newscasts and breaking news as needed, either in studio or out in the field.

NBC 7 and Telemundo 20 San Diego seek a freelance Reporter. You will be reporting for an estimated 20 hours a week for the NBC newscasts. The schedule will depend upon need and could include early morning, nights and/or weekends. This position has a start date of October 15, 2024 and ends April 15, 2025.

Responsibilities • Tell the market’s weather stories in a way that connects and informs viewers. • Develop innovative and creative ways of presenting the daily weather story, with an emphasis on accuracy and integrity of data. • Produce weather graphics and analyze data from the National Weather Service as well as other meteorological sources. • Work with the producers and news team to create complete coverage of weather. Also prepare and post forecasts for multiple platforms. • Some live reporting and attendance at community and weather-related events will be required.

TELEMUNDO UTAH is seeking a News Anchor/MMJ responsible for the writing and on-air delivery of daily newscasts. The ideal candidate will also shoot, write & edit news stories for all of our platforms, including broadcast, web, social media, and OTT. They will work closely with producers to ensure stories are accurately written and presented on all platforms.
