The News Director is responsible for the overall management and direction of the news department at Telemundo 49 in Tampa, FL. This role includes strategic planning, supervising staff, maintaining journalistic integrity, and ensuring the delivery of accurate, engaging, and timely news content across multiple platforms. Essential Functions/Responsibilities: Provides leadership and drives strategy for News coverage, driving culture of creativity and excellence.

TThe Video Journalist is responsible for shooting, writing & editing news stories on a daily basis. Responsibilities: Will shoot, write & edit news stories on a daily basis for station’s newscasts, recorded programs and/or other live, station broadcasts – either in the studio or out on location.

This Tampa-based position will be responsible for growing revenue across NBCUniversal Local OTT and digital platforms, including NBC Spot On featuring Peacock across all 210 DMAs, and Local Linear TV including Telemundo 49 WRMD, Telemundo 31 WTMO, and Telemundo Ft. Myers WWDT. The AE will develop an understanding of our ad products, leverage tentpole events like the Olympics and World Cup, and have solid consultative selling skills to be able to best develop solutions to meet client needs.
